Critical thinking has a set of characteristics that distinguish it from daily thinking processes. One key trait is that critical thinkers are curious about everything. This curiosity leads to a pursuit of knowledge since critical thinkers dedicate significant time to learn, unlearn, and relearn information. Critical thinkers demonstrate the ability to analyze information objectively, recognizing and evaluating assumptions, biases, and potential pitfalls in reasoning. They engage in thoughtful reflection, considering alternative viewpoints and weighing evidence before forming conclusions. Overall, critical thinkers approach problems with an open mind, a commitment to intellectual rigor, and a willingness to embrace uncertainty in their pursuit of deeper understanding.

4. Definition of a problem & identify steps to solve it
Problems are an issue that prevents your team from delivering value to the customers and your company. Therefore, problems have to be resolved immediately. However sometimes the problem may not be clearly defined. Most of the time, concerns or wish lists are stated as the problem. This concern or wish list may be important but may not actually help to deliver the value required. To resolve this, creative thinkers will listen to the concern and then focus on collecting all the relevant data about the concern. Next, creative thinker will then analyze all the possible perspectives of the data to come up with the correct definition of the problem statement. With the problem statement being defined correctly, creative thinkers can then carefully try out solutions to solve the problem.
