How to Get Your PMP® Certification Fully Funded Under HRDC SBL-Khas (2026 Guide)
By Dr Rumesh Kumar
Note (January 2026 Update): Great news for the 2026 intake! The HRD Corp Claimable Course (SBL-Khas) scheme remains fully active. This grant continues to cover 100% of your certification costs—including the PMP® training fee, the official exam fee, your 1-year PMI® Membership, and relevant taxes. As long as your company has a sufficient levy balance, zero upfront payment is required.

One of the biggest misconceptions about getting PMP® certified in Malaysia is that it requires a massive upfront investment from your company.
Many HR managers worry about the cash flow impact of paying thousands of Ringgit for training and exams, and then waiting months to be reimbursed. This is where the HRDC Claimable Course scheme is here to help!
Under the HRD Corp Claimable Courses (SBL-Khas) scheme, your company does not need to pay upfront to us. Instead, HRD Corp pays the training provider directly from your company's levy balance.
In this guide, we will walk you through the exact steps to apply for this grant, ensuring your PMP® certification is 100% funded and hassle-free.
